It is well known that Ackerman’s is one of the leading retail shops in the country. It is now looking for enthusiastic citizens to take positions in his company that will help both the company develop and the employee to gain some skills and get paid while doing it.
All you need to be a is driven and be a hard worker to start your way into working for the company. If you believe that you have what it takes to take the company forward as of today you are welcome to apply.
Qualifications needed
• Matriculation (Grade 12) is a non compromise
Knowledge and skills:
• Be a people’s person and get along with customers
• know how to speak, write and read english
• work under pressure without breaking
• always be energetic and excited for work
Experience:
• you do not need any prior experience but if you have it, you might speed up the selection process.
Key Responsibilities
1. Please the customers and offer a service that will bring a smile to their faces.
– know all the shelves in the shop so to help customers find products.
– assist each customer when they call you for help
2. Cashier duties
– Facilitate payments at the till, help with lay by and do proper till balancing
3. Merchandising
– it is important that the right products are always on the shelves, this will be your duty to make sure they are there.
4. Manage Risk
– Make sure products follow the policy of the shop and company
– validate the stocked product and restock what is needed
– police the customers and report any suspicious behaviour.
