WE ARE RECRUITING a Junior Bookkeeper

Our client Vantage Advisory a small Accounting Firm is looking for a self-motivated and experienced Junior Bookkeeper to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be working directly with some of their valued clients as well as providing administrative and technical support to the Vantage Advisory Director.

Salary – R 8 000.00 – R 10 000.00

• Certificate in Accounting or Diploma (Preferred)
• Bookkeeping:3 – 5 year (Non­ negotiable)
• Quick Books, Pastel, Xero : 2 – 3 years (Non-negotiable)
• SAIPA articles preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Work efficiently under pressure and be able to multitask.
• Must be able to work independently and be a self-starter.
• Deadline-driven to ensure the meeting of deadlines/deliverables timeously
• Willingness to work overtime when required
• Time management skills are essential
• Must be able to multitask and function under set timelines.
• Time management and organisation skills are essential

 

• Bookkeeping function to trial balance .
• Monthly bank reconciliation.
• Monthly journal entries.
• Assist with VAT reconciliations.
• Assist with income tax and provisional tax submission.
• Payroll preparation.
• Assist with drafting of financials
• Feedback to management.
• Client liaison.
• General administrative work / other duties required by management.

 

Salary – R 8 000.00 – R 10 000.00 (Experience dependent)
