Bram Fischer International Airport is hiring a General Assistant: Building and Facilities Maintenance

General Assistant Building and Facilities Maintenance- Grade A3

An exciting vacancy exists at Bram Fischer International Airport for a General Assistant Building and Facilities Maintenance within the Operations Management division.

Key Performance Output

The successful candidate will be reporting to the Manager Maintenance Engineering, and will be responsible but not limited to the following:

• Participating in root cause analysis.
• Completing defined audits, monitoring processes and adherence to standards.
• Executing safe planned and unplanned maintenance activities.
• Assisting with infrastructure maintenance and routine inspections as and when required.
• Consulting and giving support in commissioning and testing of assets.
• Providing insight into studies on upgrades/replacements of assets.
• Providing input into maintenance planning, scheduling and execution of the assets.
• Adhering to relevant statutory/legislative regulations, SOP’s, operational standards, policies and practices.
• Liaising and engaging with internal stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient operations.
• Providing input into all relevant reports.
• Identifying and reporting possible efficiency enhancements and initiatives to ensure resource savings.
• Engaging with relevant Stakeholders on report findings.

Technical Skills and Experience

The following skills and experience or the equivalent of such will be required:

• National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) is essential.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
