Job Purpose

Incoming stock in to the Siemens Warehouse is receipted and binned, as well as outbound orders are picked timeously, in full with no errors. Assist with Inventory Management.

Ensure incoming goods are unpacked and binned according to Warehouse Management Binning Strategies.

Timeous loading and unloading of Cargo. Packing of outbound orders according to IA/DT requirements. Assisting with annual stock takes as well as any other IA/DT business when required.

 

Qualifications & Experience

Qualifications:

Grade 12/Matric
Appropriate/related learnership would be advantageous

Experience:

1 – 2 years experience in an similar position
Computer literate, MS Excel, Word & Outlook

 

Key Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:

Receive incoming goods from goods receiving
Binning of goods
Picking outbound orders

 

Main activities for this role:

Unpack and bin incoming goods according to Warehouse Management Binning strategies
Load and unload cargo
Picking of outbound orders according to Warehouse Management Picking strategies
Packing of outbound orders according to IA/DT requirements

Inventory Management
Assist with cycle counts when required
Assist with annual stock takes as and when required
Assist with retured stock, collections and transfer orders
Assist with any other IA/DT business when required.

 

Skills & Competencies
Knowledge:

Knowledge of Siemens WMS system
Proficient in English language, both verbal and in writing

 

Skills:

Ability to pay attention to detail
Ensure accuracy at all time
Be able to work independently and without supervision
