About the Role

The main purpose of the Armed Security Officer position is to ensure that all site-specific security requirements are strictly followed and that the client’s needs are met efficiently and professionally at all times. FSG emphasizes a proactive approach to security, ensuring both the protection of assets and the safety of individuals on-site.

Key Responsibilities

As an Armed Security Officer, your responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining strong client relations: Ensure excellent communication and trust between FSG and the client regarding security services rendered.
• Evaluating service levels: Constantly assess the quality of security services and provide recommendations to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Risk assessment: Conduct continuous evaluations of the client’s premises to minimize potential security risks. Implement multiple layers of security barriers to deter criminal activity.
• Shift work readiness: Be prepared to work in shifts to ensure 24/7 coverage and protection of the client’s premises.

This role requires vigilance, reliability, and a professional demeanor at all times, reflecting FSG’s commitment to excellence in security services.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in security supervising.
• PSIRA Registration: Must be Grade C registered and accredited.
• Criminal Record: A clean criminal record is mandatory.
• Firearm Competency: Must be competent in at least 2 firearms, including 1 handgun.
• Shift Work: Willingness to work shifts as required by the client.
