EXPANDED PUBLIC WORKS PROGRAMME (EPWP) (DFFE) X126 TEMPORARY VACANCIES

 

DEPARTMENT:  Social Services Department

 

DURATION:   Twelve (12) months

POSITION:    Environmental Cleaning Supervisors X6

STIPEND:      R150.00 PER DAY

 

DUTIES:

Supervise and coordinates daily public works staff.

Promotes staff participation and team­ work.

Operations and projects as assigned

by the Head of Department or his/her

designate in a manner that motivates, guides

and directs staff.

 

POSITION: Environmental Cleaning General Workers x120

STIPEND: R120 PER DAY

DUTIES: Cleaning, mopping, sweeping, litter packing, street cleaning, cleaning of gutters, cleaning of illegal dumping sites and walkways, and separating waste at source. And any other duties that may be assigned by the Head of the Department of his/her designate.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

Must be unemployed (lndigent Household&)

Preference will be given to youth, Disable people and women and people who reside close to the area to be cleaned,

Matric will be an added advantage.

Applicants must be full time residents in Thembisile Hani Local Municipality and be in good physical health.

Proof of residential address as well as ward numbers must be clearly stated on the CV.
