CRIME PREVENTION WARDEN POSITIONS AT THE DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY SAFETY – APPLY WITH GRADE 12

 

The Department of Community Safety invites suitably qualified applicants to apply for their Crime Prevention Warden Positions.

POSITION: CRIME PREVENTION WARDENS

Directorate: Traffic Management

 

Stipend: R 4000 stipend will be paid during the training period of three to six months.

Note: Targeted group: Coloured and Indian young, fit and agile people.

Targeted areas: Coloured and Indian communities in Gauteng.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12 Fit and agile
• Drivers License and prior safety and security training will be an added
• Participation in the department’s volunteer programmes will be an added
• No criminal record or any pending
• Be prepared to undergo training both theory and physical fitness training
• Be prepared to work 2417 shift system

 

Knowledge and Skills:

Communication (verbal and written)

Duties:

Crime prevention, stop and search, arrest, attend to complaints, maintain law and order and traffic control, Under supervision during training.

 

APPLICATIONS:

Applications must be submitted using the New Z83 application form.

All fields in the New Z83 form must be completed and signed. Furthermore, a comprehensive Curriculum Vitae (CV) must also be attached. Failure to attach the completed Z83 and the CV will result in disqualification.
